Future School (Trường Tương Lai) is a dynamic and forward-thinking educational institution located in the heart of Vietnam, where innovation meets tradition to shape the future of learning. As a participant in the Student Exchange Program in Vietnam, I had the privilege of completing my practicum at this institution, and it left an indelible mark on my educational experience.

One of Future School's defining features is its commitment to innovative pedagogy. They embrace modern teaching techniques, including the use of technology and interactive learning, to engage students actively in the learning process. Musical instruments and sing-song learning are just one example of their creative teaching practices that make learning a joyful experience.

Education at Future School extends beyond borders. They actively promote a global perspective, encouraging students to explore the world and appreciate different cultures. This international outlook aligns with the goals of the Student Exchange Program, providing a rich cross-cultural experience for students like me.

2.2 Teaching methods of the teacher that you observed

Picture this: you walk into a classroom, and there it is—a guitar resting on the teacher's shoulder. That's not something you see every day in english class, right? But that's where the magic begins. Musical instruments have a way of instantly grabbing your attention and making you curious about what's in store.

And I noticed that Teacher Marcelo (who is also a Filipino teacher) was utilizing music to his Class, the students were having fun singing along while also reading a passage that is in English, its amazing how learning and music plays in perfect harmony. Once the teacher strums a few chords, it's like a call to adventure. Students can't resist joining in, singing along, or trying their hand at playing. That's when you realize that learning isn't just about absorbing facts; it's about actively participating and engaging with the subject.

Future School places great emphasis on using innovative learning materials to enhance the educational experience and their school is 21'st Century equipped, by means of utilizing technology, teachers can use a television when doing lectures or presentation. These materials are designed to engage students actively, foster creativity, and promote critical thinking. Here are some key aspects of their approach:

1. Digital Resources: The institution integrates technology seamlessly into the learning process, providing students with access to a wealth of digital resources. Interactive e-books, online simulations, and educational apps are just a few examples of how technology is leveraged to make learning more dynamic and engaging.

2. Multimedia Presentations: Traditional textbooks take a backseat at Future School as multimedia presentations, including videos, animations, and interactive content, take center stage. Based on what I have observed at Future School, they go beyond traditional testing methods, allowing educators to gauge students' understanding and skills in real-world contexts, fostering a deeper and more meaningful learning experience. I think they gave importance to the Teaching Principle of John Dewey's "Learning by Doing".

Moreover, the use of authentic assessments at Future School reflects the institution's commitment to providing a holistic and relevant education. By focusing on real-world tasks and challenges, these assessments not only measure academic proficiency but also prepare students to excel in life beyond the classroom. My experience with authentic assessments at Future School has underscored the importance of these innovative evaluation methods in fostering meaningful learning and personal growth.

Future School is a Hope of Inclusivity, my time as a Student Exchange Intern at Future School in Vietnam has been an unforgettable journey, one that has left an indelible mark on my heart and mind. As I reflect on my experiences, it's impossible not to feel a deep sense of admiration and gratitude for a school that embodies the values of inclusivity, equality, and kindness.

I have had the privilege of learning from dedicated educators, engaging with remarkable students, and immersing myself in a culture of acceptance and inclusion. As I bid farewell to this remarkable institution, I carry with me not only cherished memories but also a renewed sense of purpose.
